Adding Likes Buttons to Product Pages

Product Likes let your shoppers easily show interest in your products by clicking a customizable Like button. It’s a fast, powerful way to build trust, show demand, and get real-time signals before and after your product launches. No reviews needed — just pure, lightweight social proof.

Prerequisites

• A published Online Store 2.0 theme

How it Works

• Add the Product Like button to your product pages.
• Shoppers click the button to show their interest.
• See all likes at a glance in your Vote Spark dashboard.
• Customize the look and feel of the button to match your brand (colors, icons, styling).

How to Setup

1. From your Shopify admin, go to Online Store > Themes, then click Customize to open the theme editor.
2. In the top dropdown menu, select Products > Default product (or any product template where the poll is added).
3. Click on the VoteSpark – Product Like Button block to open customization settings.
4. In the sidebar, adjust the following options:
   • Button Color – Choose the color for the upvote/downvote buttons.
   • Button Text Color – Choose the color of the text/icons on the buttons.
   • Button Radius – Adjust the roundness of the buttons using the slider.
   • Form Background Color – Set the background color of the feedback form container.
5. Customize button:
   • Button Icon
   • Label – Enter the text shown next to the upvote icon (e.g., “Like”)
6. When you're done, click Save in the top right to publish your changes.
7. Now go to your Vote Spark Settings.
8. Click Enable Product Likes.

Congrats! The like button is now live.

Where to See Your Likes

• Visit the Likes page in your Vote Spark dashboard to see all products with likes.
• Filter and sort by most-liked products to identify rising stars.
